We’re almost ready for the 2013 season! The Merc will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 7 days a week, starting Friday, April 26. We close the last full weekend in November, so our final day for 2013 will be Sunday, November 24.

The Merc is well-known for its baked goods. A recent “Yelp” write-up said it as well as anyone: …the Polebridge Mercantile offers rustic charm and delicious eats. The bakery nestled in the merc offers a wide array of goods, from cookies and huckleberry bear claws to hot sandwiches that resemble kolaches. Everything that we tried danced down our palletes and made us go up for seconds. And, as an added bonus, there is free wi-fi for “email and basic interwebbing.”
The Polebridge Mercantile and the town of Polebridge itself guard the northwestern entrance to Glacier National Park and the more isolated regions of the Flathead National Forest. Here are some links to help you explore this remote area of Montana:
